We are incredibly proud to share that more than $225,000 has been raised through this year’s Teal Game hosted by the Tasmania JackJumpers in support of gynaecological cancer awareness, support services, and our shared vision for Tasmania’s Cancer Wellness Centre.
This year’s event was nothing short of extraordinary. Seeing the stadium filled with teal and thousands of people standing together in solidarity with women and families impacted by gynaecological cancer was deeply moving for our entire SHE team.
We want to sincerely thank the Tasmanian community for embracing this initiative in such a powerful way. The generosity, energy, and compassion shown on the night—and in the lead-up to the game—continues to remind us why this work matters so deeply.
A significant contribution to this year’s total came from in-store fundraising led by Chemist Warehouse, which raised an outstanding $165,000. Alongside this, teal seat purchases, game-day donations, and auction items all played an important role in reaching this incredible total.

For us at SHE, the Teal Game is about far more than sport. It is about community, connection, and ensuring that every Tasmanian affected by gynaecological cancer has access to care, support, and hope. This year’s event was a powerful reminder of what is possible when people come together behind a shared purpose.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the JackJumpers players, staff, and supporters, as well as Coach Scott Roth for his continued advocacy and personal connection to the cause.
The funds raised will directly support the development of Tasmania’s Cancer Wellness Centre and help strengthen support services for individuals and families impacted by cancers across our state.
From all of us at SHE, thank you. Your support is helping us build something truly life-changing for Tasmania.
